This is the smallest of small businesses. I essentially work as a middleman searching out interesting yarns and buying in quantity on the open market from sales reps and manufacturers and I re-sell same as all retailers. I’ve sourced over 40 yarns the last 9 years under 3 different brand names rarely buying a yarn more than once. I’ve pushed the envelope and had my share of duds and successes and at no time have I ever changed or altered a material description; I sell exactly what I buy. The Cashmere Co-op name was spawned when I bought cashmere yarn from a cooperative of 50 cashmere farmers and mills in Mongolia. Most gratifying is the relationships I’ve developed with my wonderful customers.
